What uncommon adjustments to WACC have you guys came across?

I want to quit and give myself a couple months to find a new job and enjoy my life. Someone told me I need to approach my reason for leaving sensitively as I don't want to ruin my connections and references. Any tips?
How do I put in my notice with no new job offer without coming out and saying "this place no longer fulfills me and I want to be able to breath for a couple months when I search for something new" ?

Considering pivoting into a local MM IB. As my title suggests, my technical skills aren’t as honed as one who has focused on the analysis route. How much of being an Analyst at a smaller IB is technical skill heavy coming into the role? I hold my 7, 66, 24, and am not worried about getting the 79. Any input for how realistic this is? When looking at one particular firm’s career page it doesn’t mention technical skills or modeling once, which led me to believe it may be less important than soft.
