Deloitte has a more mature tech and human capital practice overall.
Why on earth will you call consider lower pay and lower titles? Even though Deloitte is mature I can’t find a justification of joining at lower title and lower pay. Plus at Deloitte churn is high.
Go to KPMG.
KPMG. When receiving offers from both KPMG and Deloitte, I chose KPMG because of its culture (granted both had the same pay). I don't regret my decision one bit - the leadership really looks out for you and I've found many mentors, informal and formal, through all the different projects here.
Deloitte would pay less though. Kpmg offered a higher title and 10K more yearly... but I get the feeling Deloitte is more mature

And try to negotiate upwards to get parity or close to from Deloitte
No - corporate services. Do a ton of system implementation work though (not with workday), but all the folks I've met from that practice are pretty solid

Op you should talk to K1 or someone like him through burner to get feel for the practice. Usually during recruitment the leadership is always sweet. Your goal should be to understand how many solid projects they have done ( to understand if there’s some key folks from whom you can learn from as well).. if they have solid pipeline ....and last but mot least exit options.
Hello! I am in Deloitte’s Workday practice! Based on what I hear from my colleges that have migrated here from other firms, we typically match any “higher” offer you might receive (I have started off in this practice and have since remained in this practice). We have a very high demand for skilled Workday folks. Feel free to let me know if I can drop a burner for you, would be happy to talk on company culture, practice culture, etc.
I imagine Deloitte would match KPMG, workday is really growing here

Haha I just don’t want to end up in the situation I’m in now. The attrition rate in the Workday Practice is high and we are losing all of our experienced people. I would take a pay cut if it meant I’d have less headaches
Pay cut meaning kpmg vs Deloitte. Both are at least 10k higher than what I’m being paid now
Deloitte doesn’t have that kind of brand to justify lower pay and /title. If it paid more but lower title then its a different matter. Its a foolish move to go anywhere with lower pay and title. . For years to come a person will always be judged by what he is earning. As a tech consultant your value lies on the skill set that you know. And no company has that kind of additional value which can transform one person from crap to gold just by brand or internal methodology. But again these are all personal choices. I don’t know your capabilities. We learn from our-decisions. We can only provide some pointers. You can extend your offer to PwC1 and tell Deloitte HR “ would you like 2 for price of 1 “ and split your salary. Both of you will be happy with Deloitte brand and lower pay
