Hello all,
Would like to know specifically about Queer inclusion at SocGen Societe Generale. What is the attitude of mangers and HRs towards treating LGBTQ identifying candidates? Is company really inclusive or it’s just a lip service? Considering an offer with the company but being an out and proud Queer woman, super anxious and concerned.

I have had both. I prefer the live-in as my husband is on call for work frequently and it helps to have the nanny also 'on call' for emergencies. We have 3 kids under 5. I plan on moving back to live out once the kids are a little older
We have live out. I like having my own space and time in the evenings. Also, if you have an issue, it’s much easier to replace live out. Just get the hours you need from the live out (like 1-2 nights a week stay late so you can get some personal time)
Have done both. Live in was AuPair. House is small but her bedroom is en-suite so she spends most of her time off in her room and so the footprint isn’t too heavy (true of all three we have had). Love the flexibility. It’s amazing
That said it’s a gamble who you get and my first didn’t work out at all (I asked her to leave after two weeks). My second was fine until her boyfriend moved to the US and then she up and moved there too which was unexpected.
My live out nanny was amazing but expensive. We only parted ways because pandemic happens and we were headed to public school that fall so needs much less. If it wasn’t for the pandemic I fear I’d still be paying her full time because she was great :)
We have done both - a live in is excellent when you have a more variable schedule and need more on-demand support or if the primary purpose is to do housework and clean up. If primary purpose is childcare during normal business hours, live out is sufficient, or if they’re watching kids part time and doing housework part time. I do not like the au pair model so a live out professional nanny always beats that in my book
Had "live out" nanny come to my home for about six months after my wife went back to work years ago. It was an awesome experience for us. I don't think would have liked having another adult that worked for me living under my roof. Too many chances to judge or piss each other off for one, and where do you draw the line on when the nanny works for you.
Live out nanny can do more inside the house. Au pair rules are strict so things like taking Amazon packages to post office which are normal nanny tasks are edgy depending on your Au pair.
