Thoughts about Eagle Hill Consulting?

Hi, fellow 🐠🐟! I’m looking to switch firms and was hoping to get a lead. I’m a senior associate in cybersecurity. Most of my work has been in the policy/controls/assessment side (cont.)

What kind of projects and clients does Strategy& have in Toronto?
Also does anyone know the salary range for a manager?

Hello fishes,
I have been recently cleared technical discussion round one for Accolite Digital. And my next round is supposed to be Client interview round. What type of questions can I expect? Will it also be a technical round or managerial?

I am feeling hopeless. I’m a tax senior been through 4 busy seasons with Deloitte. The tax I’m in is pretty niche and I kinda wanna leave tax all together since I wanna start a family and personally can’t do it with another busy season. I don’t know who is willing to hire me because I feel pigeonholed. I’m just hating every moment with this firm right now. Any advice on what positions/companies might be best to look into?

Thanks everyone.

Any Knowledge Attorneys or Professional Support Attorneys out there? Or know any? Wondering if it would be a good life choice. (I like the sound of it from the little I’ve found.)

Help. My AD left and we're still looking for a replacement. My AAE was promoted to AE prematurely in light of the departure. Now we're having serious problems.

Alright y’all.. I started a new job about 3 months ago and I have basically hit the ground running. I’m kind of new to my industry (SEO) and my team is INCREDIBLY smart! continued...

I’ve been doing ID for about 2 years now. Mostly slip and fall and WC work. Long-term, I want to move out of ID. I’m currently interviewing at a firm that does ID, but mostly does insurance coverage opinions. They also do some more complex ID, such as L&E.

With the ultimate goal of moving completely out of ID, would this be seen as a step up? I appreciate any and all feedback. TIA

Biggest cringe for me has got to be when people include “ex-<company name>” in their title… see it for loads of the big 4 firms and I’m thinking wow you must love slave drivers that underappreciate you 🤣

I woke up today tired.

My work cell was buzzing and then I remembered something.

I forgot to thank the bus driver that dropped me off a few days ago.

I got up and rushed downstairs to find the bus driver.

It was raining outside but I was already running barefoot to the bus stop.

I stood there soaked in my pajamas as the bus approached.

Then, the door opened. The driver got up and shook my hand.

I sat down and started my shift.

I’m the bus driver. Reminder to love and thank yourself.

Comment the weirdest workplace romance story you've witnessed.

Any ideas how to reward team members who put a ton of work to get a massive project done on time?
Normally I’d take them to dinner and drinks, but that’s not really possible now, and apparently gift cards are taxable and agency doesn’t want to do it. How do you celebrate project launches during the end times?

And before someone suggests raises, yeah I’d love to, but obviously not my call.

McKinsey & Company Starting in the McKinsey London office soon and essentially need to buy a new wardrobe. Any advice on what I should prioritise?? Was going to buy a couple nice suits and shirts etc, but someone told me no one wears suits anymore and to buy chinos and quarter zips instead?
