High end luxury places will primarily be in West Loop / River North. There are some nice condo buildings in the South Loop you should look into as well, but I don’t know if they would meet your standard of luxury.
Have toured Nema in South Loop and quite liked it. Not big on South Loop but perhaps the best option.
Lakeshore East area is quiet but right by the loop. Lots of condos for rent, new buildings, the ones built circa 2005 are still really nice too.
If South Loop is an option take a look at 1000M. Its a new building, so things should be really fresh there.
Amenities arent as flashy as Nema but I've been hearing mixed reviews there as of late (Apparently the owners might not be in as good of a financial position as they'd like to be and might be cutting costs)
Nema for new construction but there are other nice buildings closer to the lake like Lake Point Tower or in Streeterville.
Lakeshore East or Oldtown.
I live in Lincoln Park and I love it. Ton of nice places on the east side near the actual park. More residential feeling. Close enough to downtown to have a pretty quick commute via public transit or bike or Uber.
Plenty of buildings like this on the lakefront in Lakeview.
Yeah, you’re right — missed that in the post
For SLoop also look at athe Reed and The Cooper on Wells
Just DM’d you. Have a place I’m looking to sublet that fits your criteria
Check out the New Eastside.
