Love my Toyota sienna! Watch the car mom on YouTube
+1 to the sienna. We just got ours and gas mileage was a big decision factor— the odyssey gets 22 mpg, while the sienna does 38
We got the 2025 Honda Odyssey 9 months ago and although we love the magic seats and everything else about it, the transmission/engine issues are so frustrating and we regret our decision since it’s truly a safety concern. It’s just now being increasingly reported even though prior Honda models are currently being investigated. I would recommend doing further research on this and factoring it into your decision! Agree with A1. My husband is a master automotive tech and was just telling me over the wrecking Honda is going to be in trouble. I’d stay away from Honda until it’s resolved to save yourself any headaches.
Kia has an amazing warranty, but I’d looked at Toyota Sienna. It has AWD and has better proven reliability. The Kia does not offer AWD.

I THINK sienna is the only minivan with an AWD option. Might not be a big deal if you live in the south, but Midwest or Northeast, you’ll def want it.
We've had a Pacifica and currently have a 2023 Odyssey and couldn't love either of them more.
I drove the Carnival while on vacation and hated it. It wasn't a very smooth ride, where the controls were place made driving it absolutely awful!
I currently have a Pacifica and love it. Out choice was between the Sienna and the Pacifica. We went with the Pacifica because it had an 8th seat option. We remove it when we don't need and then put it back in when were taking more people.
We have a 2019 Odyssey and are obsessed. We haven’t experienced the stop-start issue (yet). Is there something that triggers it?
Love my Toyota Sienna! I really wanted AWD because I live on pretty steep hill and drive a lot for work. It's a 2017 with $105K and still in great shape. Up to you, but my preference is two captains chairs in the middle row....makes getting in and out of the 3rd row so much easier...my 6'2 husband even sits back there on road trips quite a bit.
105K miles, not $105K, lol
