Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte
What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

They're hiring, there is a demand for ops, oil and gas and private capital as far as I know (I'm sure other areas are hiring, a lot of studies are looking for new joiners and can't get hold of them!). For Associates specifically IDK, that's mostly MBA and is similar to the grad scheme. Obviously large amount of applications (only a few places available) but doors are open atm. Solve is only a factor in the application process, your CV is more important. YMVM, I had invites to R1 before invite to Solve so can be a case-by-case basis.
Thank you, that's really helpful context
Solve is pretty important. I was told by campus PR that I didn’t get an invite because of Solve ow I was in the hotlist (I know the hotlist part for sure as I had a 1:1 online dinner with a partner from office I applied to). Though I also wouldn’t be surprised if the guy was lying after-all McK is expert in that…(for context this was for East Coast office in the US. Might be different here in UK)
I’ve heard solve is actually not important at all tbh, so unless you really did badly on it, not sure if this is accurate
