More money or more flexibility, which onewould you go for? I’m choosing between a $15K raise with full RTO and a flat salary with hybrid and sane hours. On paper the money wins, but burnout is real. I genuinely can’t decide, what would you choose?

It's all dependent on life circumstances. If you're young and building savings, take the money. If you're burned out or have life obligations that need flexibility, stick to remote.

Flexibility, if it still comes with a mostly decent paycheck. I’d rather sign up for something I can handle long term.

15k raise

Everybody is different here. As another commenter noted, it might depend on your stage in life and also just personal preference. Personally, I actually like being around people and work from home is not that appealing to me so I’d take the money. Others say working from home is the most important thing to them. I would also factor in things like commute, etc of course.

Is QEF inclusion dividend or not? Sometimes, I see QEF inclusion reported on Line 11i and sometimes on Line 6a. I think we can rely on Sec. 1293(c) but I think it’s not foolproof. My hunch is since QEF regime is tailored to treat the PFIC similar to domestic mutual funds, we should not treat the QEF inclusion as dividends. Any help is appreciated.
