Netflix tells ‘woke’ employees they support the artistic expression of different creators, and program for a diversity of audiences and tastes, if you don’t like it, you can quit
Thanks for doing this Paul! I'm pretty interested in data on this. Do some states have teachers w/ more student loans than others? Is there a gender gap?
Best consulting firms for real inclusion?
Hello! Does anyone have any feedback they’d like to share on BIP (Business Integration Partners) specifically the Milan/Rome offices? I really like the way the firm presents itself online, though the lack of diversity in their leadership is astonishing… Thank you!
How do you respond to comments like “we just hire the best person of the job, regardless of race or gender”?
thoughts on this inclusion thing? As a minority it seems to be a publicity stunt... for the pictures and social media posts... Just confused about why we are still talking about what needs to get done
Good? Bad? Ugly? How was your experience with a manager or supervisor of the opposite gender, that you would like to share?
Yes! The stretching of "diversity” seems to be such a widespread symptom of this industry’s fear of addressing the uncomfortable realities of race within it. A distraction? Very “All Lives Matter” ...
Hello fishes, Do you have suggestions on Diversity & Inclusion activities that can be done virtually with a group? I found few ideas in google but would love to hear about any experiences and suggestions.
I've often heard "diversity of thought" (i.e. conservatives) as being callously injected into the diversity convo. Typically this coming from white men. What are your thoughts on this?
Do NOT claim you are "colorblind" in the workplace. 1. DE&I knowledge is now a core leadership competency. Colorblind claims will earn you the reputation of being DEI-ignorant at best & racist at worst. 2. Colorblindness within the context of workplace diversity is an obvious lie. You do NOT want to be painted as an intellectually dishonest leader. 3. Colorblind claims signal that you lack the leadership skills & vocabulary to have key conversations. Ask questions here, in this safe space.
How do we get more diversity in leadership? Gender, race, culture, all types of diversity. Looking at the top of the food chain typically results in rows of photos of middle aged white men...
Curious about something so fun Friday night poll for y’all. If you are married, do you wear your ring regularly? Pls specify age, gender, and cultural background. Thanks!
Thanks for making this bowl all gender inclusive. The other bowl simply was outdated and lacked any kind of diversity whatsoever at all.
Any programs that are state-funded and working with inclusion? We have a start up inclusion, part-day classroom this year.
Should we try our hand at matchmaking? Drop your age and gender and what you are looking for in the comments and maybe we can find your soulmate or at least a semi decent date

You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader, have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.
FCB is committed to diversity in hiring but that won’t make the agency diverse if the folks we hire don’t feel welcome. What is leadership doing to make sure diverse hires feel welcome and supported?
12 years and my partner won't do chores. Vent vent vent. I make 80% of our income and pay 80% of expenses. I'm also tidy but hate cleaning. Partner works 20-30 hours/ week no kids and is a slob. 3 months ago made chore list, got them to sign on the list the 50/50 split that it was fair. 3 months later I've been doing my chores they haven't done any. Brought it up today and was accused that the list was unfair they refuse and they dont have time because they must "work to subsidize your expenses"
How’s life in PWC SDC for a SAP consultant? I am offered SA 2 role in SDC Bangalore. Just want to know about WFH continuation, travelling involved and opportunities there. Thanks
I fell into IT consulting (strategy) 8yrs ago and want out. Currently manager but have prior experience in finance for 5yrs. Trying to get out but all the roles I see are too technical... any thoughts or recommendations?
Do any firms still require business formal attire while in office (not when meeting with clients or going to court)? COVID might muddy this a bit, but still curious.
I’m switching jobs and took off 2 weeks in between, but my significant other and friends can’t take off with such short notice. I’ve planned a long weekend to visit a friend out of state, but curious if anyone has solo traveled and, if so, where did you go? Thinking of staying in the US.
Ip litigation juniors/mid levels , does your team have good work life balance? If so are you giving out signing bonuses? 😂
I just started working for Facebook, but an old offer that I didn't think was a real possibility has come through. If I have only been here 5 months, will I get blacklisted? Should I even consider the other offer anymore? It's more comp and I wanted it badly at first but I actually am liking this job.
Can you all please share your thoughts on the housing market in NYC? I’ve started looking and just put in an offer on a 700sq ft condo near an express stop, it’s a nice place but I’m getting nervous. Am I making a mistake? Is now the right time to buy?
Non-US born here. Most people seem to get divorced after 5-15 years, therefore, curious what the point of getting married is if the odds of getting divorced is so high? Is getting remarried part of life?
How the hell does one get into buying investment property? My buddy does well for himself. He’s in finance and I’d imagine takes home a pretty salary + bonus. He’s on his third property within 2 years. In this real estate market. I have a ton of savings and have little confidence in stocks right now. Any books or sites I should be looking into?
Guys, how are you? I'm looking for some help. I recently started working for a new company. I've been reaching out to managers, directors, seniors, and the Resource Manager since Day 1 in order to get placed on projects. When I get on a call today I find out that all of my coworkers who started with me have billable hours of at least 40 hours per week. Meanwhile, I have yet to reach that number of hours yet. So, what should I do now? I've literally done my part to get staffed in projects.
Attorney with ADHD, just joined a firm which lacks a good organizational system for finding form language, past documents, etc. and I'm still struggling to master the search function on the program we use. I'm thinking I need to build an incredibly robust excel sheet and just track everything; does anyone have a better idea? Or an excel file they'd like to share? Frankly, I'd welcome any suggestions or best tips for staying organized, whether it's probate deadlines, finding language, etc. Thanks!
Hey y’all, a recruiter hit me up about a gig in Amsterdam, and I’m curious what the going rate for an ACD is over there?
