Southern Philippines in early 2000s. It was a work trip and when we left the company compound, the client sent armed bodyguards with us. At one point they pointed out the fresh bullet holes in the cement wall surrounding one of their facilities. Before I went, I asked our office managing partner if the firm would pay a ransom if I was kidnapped. I don’t recall that he gave an answer.

Looking for legal recruting department organizational structure information. Does anyone here oversee an attorney recruiting team at a law firm and would you be willing to share how your team is structured? How many attorneys do you have? What are the titles on your team and how many offices do they support? Working on building out the appropriate staffing model and would love to hear how others have structured the size of their teams and how you made the pitch for said size of staffing.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
