Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Update: Ended up moving to Grant Park right by the zoo. Love the park and proximity to VaHi, Inman, MT, grocery stores and all the convenience that comes with it. I would recommend it with caution that it’s still gentrifying like much of Atlanta. The park has some sketchy people at certain hours but then again you see yuppie parents with strollers and dogs
Don’t know much about Grant Park... but I’d highly recommend Inman Park, Old 4th Ward, and Virginia Highlands! They’re all near the Beltline which has been awesome to be around. Lots to do all up and down the beltline (exercise, brewery, Ponce City market, parks, restaurants etc.)
Little far from the areas I like. What’s the reasoning for grant park? I’d much prefer west midtown, midtown, Virginia highlands.
Need a 4 BD and can’t find places in those areas within my budget that also meet the interior standards
Understandable, check out Candler park as well. Grant park is by no means bad, as with any gentrified area there will be good and bad. The people I know that live in Grant park love it, but like I said it’s not my forte.
I’m in midtown (a little closer to old 4th ward than I realized) and have been disappointed after relocating Lots of crime....can’t recommend it. Friends in Buckhead. Married w children seem to be in Decatur for the schools. Also a nice little hood if that’s your situation
Nice and quiet. Close to the interstate. A variety of grocery stores.
Lot of new development this year. Grant Park still regentrifying, but has come a long way in the past couple of years. I wouldn’t live there as a single woman, but otherwise would. Great culture, great pocket of town
There is a police station in that area. Redeveloped and more modern. You are close to everything!
Congrats OP
