It’s understandable to want fewer meetings, but if your boss mentioned it, it could be important for your growth or alignment. Maybe you could casually bring it up, like, “Hey, just checking in—are we still planning on starting one-on-ones? I think it could help with keeping things aligned.” That way, it’s not a push but a gentle reminder.

Thanks. Part of me was thinking along these lines.
Meh... I always feel like if it was a priority to them, they would make it happen. I have a boss like this and she has mentioned holding one on ones for over a year now. She's amazing, so I don't think it's because she doesn't want to, but I think it was more of a casual invite for me to ask her for a one on one if I needed support in any way.

PS I’m glad you have an amazing boss! Pls describe her. What makes her so great?
I think it depends on if you feel like you need the meetings or not. I have a boss thats kind of spacey and does stuff like this all the time and I just don't bring it up because I don't really feel like we need as many meetings. If you don't think you need them I would just leave it alone.
