You need to work two jobs if you rent and as a dishwasher. Full time is not always guaranteed.
It's a personal choice.
How much less is slightly less?
Can you still live comfortably on that much less, just by cutting back, or will this cause financial strain?
Then, you say the job is great, except the schedule. Will the new job provide that kind of job satisfaction?
If that's what you want to do, and you're just looking for people to tell you you're not crazy... you're not crazy. All over the world there are people that deliberately work at jobs that pay less than they could easily make, just for the job satisfaction or the flexibllity a job offers, or any of a host of other reasons.
As long as your basic needs are accounted for, be happy. A job is a long time. If you can make it more pleasant, take the opportunity.
