Moved to Canada on a work permit but recently got my PR approved. It’s been a 4 month wait to get the actual PR card and I have a family trip coming up soon. Can I still travel and get back into the country with no issues given that I still have a work visa (W1) on my passport? Not sure if my change of status nulls my current visa

The only direct is EVA air. After researching, we think a good option is to use Chase points. My sister and I are combining our points but still short by a lot.
