My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. He wants to pivot out of banking and maybe look for an opportunity with FAANG or with MBB/Tier2 consulting. Hey guys! I’m looking to shift careers. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 7 years now. Before that I’ve worked in an office, retail, banking, sales and was a correctional officer. I have a BA in criminal justice that I have yet to use. I really want an office job that pays well, but I’ve had no luck finding someone to hire me, actually even getting an interview most likely due to lack of experience. I’m open to options or if anyone knows a company that’s hiring that would be great!

Very random- I need to buy my son a suit. 5’3, 120 lbs. Likely a very small sized men’s suit. He is not happy about wearing a suit so looking for a place to take him to try on lots of suits. I could afford a $4k 1bd/1ba place and understand the HCOL, but that much for rent seems excessive to live close to work in downtown SF especially with student loans, etc.
