What makes more money IT Audit or IT GRC?
Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

I’ll let you know once I get out of it 😂 been interesting enough in the last few years tbf and I enjoyed it up to COVID, but without travelling and social interaction with clients and colleagues it is still a dull af job
I agree this type of job isn’t not as exciting in a max telework situation. I’m tired of sitting in front of my computer all day.
Well, here's me complaining about the business side then lol. I am counting down the days until I leave.
The work is awful, but I do feel the business side has slightly better exit ops. The IT people who leave generally go into other IT compliance roles (IT audit, cybersecurity).
IA side can be more broad, including other IA groups (obviously), financial analyst, forensic, even IT audit. Business side is just a broader experience in general, where we touch IT stuff but don't specialize in it. Also helps that some IA people have CPA, which greatly helps exit ops, while IT people, at best, have CISA (which does nothing if you're trying to get out of IT compliance).
