How much Tax Analyst earn in EY?
What are some good personal finance books?
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

I think this is a smart move from GDS. They knew there will be high attrition this year, so they are already in the process of manage this high attrition by onboarding more employees.
If the attrition rate is below than the expected by them, be prepared for layoffs next year.
This is common thing in GDS. Coming to attrition, it is best in Industry

Ask this question to yourself: Why HR had to look out for 800 people who left the firm? Why attrition rate is so high in EY GDS?
@EY6: every company offers jobs based on skillset and budget, maybe they might get counter offers as well. EY salary is incredibly low so that makes them earn a 100% hike. It's not just because someone working in EY gets bigger offers lol !!
Low Salaries and very few benifits is the biggest factor here I guess. In this era where we see other organisations giving lots of benifits be it in terms of Giving extra money for Mobile devices other perquisites, EY's lacking in the same.
Honey nobody cares for your brand name if you apply for product companies.
Well this gives a hint that bonus and hike can be way below than expected and hence they have carefully recruited backup set. Also, this year there’s good numbers of 5 and 4 ratings.
Normally when the top ratings are skewed, the percentages are higher. Considering the relaxed ratings this year, I’m guessing the bonus and hike will be disappointing.

Please do let us know the figures of hikes and bonus once they are announced so that new joiners are also aware and take necessary action later on. I agree with your first point, seeing the large crowd of new joiners it implies that the hike and bonus to existing employees won’t be up to the mark.

Yeah, I was also shocked seeing so many people onboarding at once.
I guess they are having many projects and people are resigning as well so it’s balanced out
I am not sure about the numbers but GDS has seen exponential growth in last two years, specially SAT. We still have more than 500 positions to fill.

What you said is true but I am sure the senior leadership has seen this through and are planning accordingly but I may be wrong

Who Gave u this info ? It will be good for one who referred them😁

I don't think so.. the mail goes out to people who have joined earlier as well.. or you can say within 6 months

Itni kind advice dedi mai to dar gya😝
And this happens every week, roughly 3-4 orientations like this per month with similar strength 😅

Yeah right. How about the attrition rate then?
I was also part of this 22nd onboarding. I was taken aback when they mentioned that they're onboarding 600-800 candidates every week. It seems they are trying to increase the headcount as fast as they can.

Yeah that’s a very large number indeed. I’m scared if the recession hit then definitely the new joiners will be in trouble.
This 600- 800 may not be all from India. GDS recently opened up offices in Spain , Poland and Colombo along with additional offices in India

No one from Poland and Spain … few people joined from Colombo . But the strength was 800+

EY gds started hiring like this last year August itself. Every month almost 2-2.5k ppl are joining. But every leadership meeting there are points like under utilization or bench strength increasing. Not only that one more harsh reality is they r mapping ppl with mismatch in skill set. So not sure what is actually leadership thinking🤔

@EY11 can’t agree more, recently came to know that most of the high performing colleagues from my team(Tech consulting) were heavily underpaid and now they are able to fetch great offers 100 - 200% from other companies. Being underpaid is also advantage if used wisely. Other companies are offering normal market salary but for someone working at EY it is 100 - 200% raise.🤯
