@ey1 I think there's a fine line between being serious about your job and not talking/moving for 10+ hours a day

Oh goodness ... Are we on the same audit?!?!? *side eye*

Shame on people for working during work hours and being serious about their job!

For clarification, team members are social outside of work but act very serious during the day

Oh man I would not be able to handle that. If you have an IM system, which I'm only assuming you do, use that to contact the outside world and bonus it'll look like you're working. Just don't start laughing out loud 😂

Not moving ten hours a day ... Yup I think we are on the same client...

I'm kinda surprised. Big 4 seems to employ more outgoing types rather than "traditional" 10-key type accountants.

I've been on teams like this and it's completely miserable. I don't know what's worse though, the normal silence or the awkward silence when I attempted conversation. Either way, it was a very long 1.5 weeks on that team.

What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? It's about the time where everyone on my team requests feedback from each other and I'm nervous for it coming up. My manager knows that everything I've worked w her on I end up doing 90% of the work when it's meant to be split so it is a known issue. We're both at level 3 so are genuinely peers. She seems like a nice person but i have 0 positive work feedback tbh
