Need advice on something that's bugging me. Had an interview scheduled, and the recruiter confirmed the time as Central Time after I mentioned my timezone. They called an hour early while I was away from my phone for 5 minutes, and left a voicemail asking if I was still interested. I called back immediately (tried multiple times) and sent a professional email explaining the timezone confusion. Haven't heard back since. Should I have done more?

That’s frustrating. Time zone mix-ups happen, and it sounds like you handled it the right way. I’d probably follow up one more time just to close the loop, but after that, I’d move on. If they’re not responsive now, it’s a red flag for later.

I think you did what you should have. But in the future ask them to send you a calendar invite… it will calculate it into your time zone directly to your calendar. I use this a lot bc I have family in three other time zones.

Does anyone have tips/methods for staying on top of all the little things? I’m in litigation and it’s a constant struggle to make sure I have accurate and up to date ‘bring ups’ and that I float anf rename all my emails and get all my time in and update my partner etc. like I can maybe get 1 or 2 but I’m never on top of everything and it’s so hard!

My partner now accepts and understands I am just going to have some organised chaos but also I want to make this little shit work for me!
