That is kind of tough to answer. I’ve worked at the same company in two different locations and had wildly different experiences between them. The best advice is to check out who is hiring and for what around you and keep tabs on that.
I've always worked in retail, so I don't really have much advice. Also hard to answer not knowing where you (or anyone reading this looking for advice) lives. But I will say, I've always heard Chick-Fil-A treats its employees great and pays well. Plus you always get Sundays off!

Yes I’ve heard they were good as well!
Depends on the area you live? What city are you In?

I think that is opinion right? One place I think is good, another might hate. I think the only way to really know is by working there. Good luck

Not necessarily. There are basic benchmarks for a good company to work for. Pay, benefits, schedules, work/life balance and culture. Just like anything else, you take each person’s experience as a rating to be tabulated with others as a collective view of the company. Of course your own experience is the most important, but I am sure everyone researches companies before that work there
There are a lot of factors that can go into this. Because even a company that’s generally good can have a bad store manager at one location. What do you consider a good company anyway? If you want a company that gives cost-of-living raises for example, then I would suggest Walmart, but no one likes working there.

Pay, benefits, work/life balance. Work culture varies, but one bad manager does not affect good company culture
