Now they changed the policy as we need to apply for icici/axis/hdfc credit card from there we need to make the transaction and reimburse the same. I am ok with everything but why i need to apply for credit card? How a company can force me to have a credit card? It will directly/indirectly alter the credit score right? Cogniza

Don’t you have a lot more than 20 working years left
If all goes well I'll retire early.
Maybe you’re interested in consulting/advisory? I have an audit background, but seems like those guys have more dynamic and sometimes interesting projects where you’re not doing the same thing every 30 days (industry) or 4-6 weeks (audit). I could be wrong, but if it peaks your interest talk to someone in that service line. There’s so many different types of consulting and advisory work out there
Could also try Financial Reporting. Still cyclical every quarter, but not tied down every single month. I left public for Financial Reporting about 9 months ago and have been very happy with it so far.
We have a financial management practice that is essentially providing consulting for industry finance teams for efficiencies, close management, policy documentation, process improvement etc. not really controller /cfo for hire but there is a little bit of that. Your audit /industry experience would be good for that. One of the partners is in LA here.
