Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?
Urgent suggestions required...
Thanks!

I hope you’re already looking for another job, because phrases like “teachable moment” and “for the organization” sound more like she’s building a paper trail than giving real feedback. In the meantime, managing up might help protect you. Try sending recap emails after verbal instructions to confirm what you heard, share updates before she asks, schedule mid-task check-ins, and frame your work in ways that make her look good. It won’t fix her, but it can make the situation a little easier to deal with and reduce the gaslighting.
As for responding to her email, sometimes the best move is not responding at all. But if you feel like you need to reply, you could thank her for the feedback and say you understood the task differently. Let her know that going forward you’ll confirm the intent before jumping into a project. That keeps it professional without letting her rewrite history.

@Product Owner-oh yes. Im working HARD to get the hell out of here ASAP even if the job only pays $24 an hour. What do you think she is building up a paper trail for??
I do feel the need to respond to the email she sent and let her know that When she and I met last week and requested me to make all of the changes I made to the client form, she asked me to provide a "REPORT"--NOT A "QUICK REPORT OR SUMMARY." And I had to review and make changes to hundreds of entries with client info on our Form--so how the hell does she figure I can simply compile a "QUICK REPORT?" SHE'S CRAZY AF.
She's a NARCISSIST AND MASTER MANIPULATOR. Ive been dealing with her BS for a year & a half & I have had ENOUGH!!
In one of our meetings earlier this year, she had the nerve to say "when you review your work & I review it--its like we're doing double work and that time could be spent with a client." Apparently she has never heard of teamwork. What a piece of S$%&.
She also made sure she put in my evaluation earlier this year that "gathering, utilizing, &providing resources to manage effective &efficient outcomes for our clients & staff should be done independently at this point, and we believe you are capable of this."
Additionally, evening and weekend meetings and events are a regular part of this job and we should be able to count on you being at these activities without hesitation. This is detailed in your job description.
We would like to see an improvement in comprehension of supervisor directions and your understanding of program processes so directions do not need to be given more than once by your supervisor.
After 10 months in this position, we expect more independent decision-making & creative problem solving on the job. Improvement would mean less reliance on supervisor & Director to solve problems; instead, develop solutions and ask for supervisor feedback and approval before implementing."
I got 2 offers for affordable housing i should have accepted. I also have an interview for a job that only pays $24 an hour. But im willing to take anything to get out of this place at this point. She deserves to work alone and struggle.

My intention in asking for a simple count was to be mindful of our current workload and to ensure that high-priority tasks—like moving “in progress” clients forward—receive the attention they need, especially while Im working on multiple programs.
Your attention to detail added value and increased visibility to the JotForm. I want to encourage you to keep looking for ways to go above and beyond. At the same time, it’s also important to recognize when a brief overview/summary is what is needed in that moment.Suggested tips are: Using your best judgment to match the depth of your work to the urgency and instructions given is essential, not just for your current role, but for our overall team effectiveness.Your ability to recognize and adapt to priorities will make you even more effective in your role and help us deliver better service as an organization."
• WTF is she talking about?!! When she and I met last week and requested me to make all of the changes I made to the client form, she asked me to provide a "REPORT"--NOT A "QUICK REPORT OR SUMMARY."
She's so full of BS--its crazy. If she wanted the report to be done a certain way, then she should have told me or given me an example!! Half of the time she's nowhere to be found & is always on vacation or requesting PTO to attend a family reunion, birthday party, or family gathering & my Director allows it!! What a toxic place to work. Its not fair for her to dump everything on me and when I try my hardest to get work done to the best of my ability, she throws a bunch of criticisms at me. She's the definition of a narcissist and idiot. Good lord. How do you even respond to BS like this?!

@@CXS-What is malicious compliance? I completed the updates she requested me to complete, but apparently I did not do it "quick" enough for her. Also, I did not complete the report the way she wanted me to--even though she never indicated to me that she wanted it to be "a quick report." She probably wrote thay email to me today because she asked me to do my Self Evaluation and provide examples and supporting details as to why I gave myself the ratings I gave myself and was frustrated about that and how my report i submitted to her today was too detail oriented for her. Well TOO BAD.
Im over her. She has messed up on multiple occasions such as not showing up on time or showing up AT ALL to our weekly check in meetings on multiple occasions & not owning up to it or apologizing and being MIA for multiple days without communicating with me due to family issues, being nonresponsive to emails I have sent to her, not approving my PTO that I requested that just so happens to be on the same day she requested to be off first ON MY BIRTHDAY, etc. She's a sick, despicable person, & I dont understand why my Director just goes along with everything this insane woman does.
