One of our new lead is very rude with everyone, and it’s affecting team morale. I believe leadership should be firm but respectful. How do you deal with a rude supervisor without creating conflict? Should we address it directly, stay silent, or involve HR? Looking for mature, professional advice from people who have faced similar situations at work during career growth and leadership challenges.

One bad lead can destroy a team in no time. Document everything, and go to HR. Don't try to address it yourselves. The more people who make the complaint to HR, backed up with examples, the better.

I want to inform area manager first . After then report to HR

Toughness is needed and essential. The new generation is too soft and too fragile.

New generation mean person born after 1990 or after 2000

Hmm…be firm, easier said than done. I always suffer then explode and send an absolutely blinder of an email

You get any solution after email.?

I would start keeping track of examples and then present it to HR or raise it as a concern their manager, but I’d be careful if raising it as a concern to their manager and maybe take a softer approach at first so you aren’t shooting yourself in the foot

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

User experience mgr salary? I support six product teams and eight reports. 20+ years experience

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. Series 7, Series 63, Life, CFP, ChFC, and soon to have my MBA with a focus in Mergers & Acquisitions. I’m look to enter another area of Finance at this point instead of starting over somewhere else from scratch, but not sure what direction to go. Interested in Investment Banking or M&A.

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?
