This might sound a bit odd. But I used to have nightly dreams or nightmares about my job. Once I step away from that toxic environment, the dreams all but stopped. Occasionally one still slips in, but I’m not tormented night after night.

I stopped thinking about it entirely and it’s as if that chapter of my life doesn’t even exist. The line in the sand was so dramatic it’s as if the waves on the ocean took away that half of the line in the sand. It’s just gone.
