Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Just tell them you’re interested in the work and want to shadow them on a low stakes day. Stroke their ego and they’ll prolly be happy to let you do it.
Never go direct to anyone in the field, go to their leadership first and simply say what you need to accomplish and be super transparent. I usually will give then a couple parts of the country as options of where I’d be willing to travel to and ask them who they might recommend for you to reach out to. Some field folks love field rides but others hate it. Just keep in mind as well that there are days when all the field might do is drop off brochures with receptionist or do a lunch, versus a one on one detail. I sometimes try to line up a field ride with a speaker program so it’s worth the travel.
