Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.

Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

As a data engineer , i have hardly seen dsa being used in the real world scenario but there can be few cases. I have given interview for product based company and they mostly asked python related some basic coding questions and rest on ur project and sql.If you jist prepare the top 50 python questions from leetcode you will be able to clear most of the product based company in india. In data engineering sql should be top ur skill then etl tool, then python. And dnt join any academy , nobody can teach you if u dnt have a zeel to learn
Yoe is close to 6yr ctc wise near about 16 lpa all fixed
Even I am in the same boat as of yours!!!
Thinking of joining some institute to learn DSA. Like Scaler or Bosscoder acedmy!!!
Now even service based companies are paying well but the work that they have is not really good. There is not much to learn either from project or from peers. Many persons that I have worked are not good technically so it stops my growth here.
Also how long it would require to prepare DSA.Only DSA seems to be barrier,I am pretty confident that I will be able to clear the interviews if questions are from data engg.?
First try to code basic questions then go for dsa. If u targeting fang then go for dsa in deep otherwise basic coding is more than enough
+1
Ping me, I can refer you... DSA expertise not needed
What level of DSA is required?
Basic merge and sorting is more than enough
Dsa level would be easy only
