Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?

It sounds like having 'the' title is your most important goal. Titles are meaningless.
What is meaningful is having a job that challenges you and you enjoy, getting paid your worth, and being recognized for your contributions.
If this person is going to be looking for those higher titled roles in the future, not having it on the resume can be a blocker for an interview and to receive the appropriate pay both now and in the future.
While titles are not truely important, the way that HR assigns pay grades is based on the title. So, if this person’s work really changed, the title and pay should change too. Not just a minor one. It should jump to the same level of peers doing the same work.

my question is: it s been long time i can do higher level job (and i do it on my projects indeed) but i am struggling to get the proper title.
how to get what would reflect what i do?
i dont want anything below Director role (i am in industry now) i am asking for that and i dont get it.
i do not receive invitations for Director roles (it was 1 time last year but i did not accept the offer at the end)
What I had started doing is my real title on my resume then add the functional role to my resume after that.
So it would look like
Supervisor | Manager | Director | Assistant Dean.
This was because I was wearing all of those hats interacting at each level of those peer conversations.
