Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

The exit interview is all about altruism. There is no upside for you and potential for downside. The I ly reason to share if you care about the company you are leaving or the people that are still there
Agreed with SM1- goal for an exit interview is not to provide feedback but to ensure you don’t burn any bridges.
Just thank them profusely and tell em you liked working there even if you hated it. When asked why you are leaving phrase it as the opportunity of a lifetime came up and you owed it to yourself to take the leap. Some exit interviews might try to press for specifics- keep repeating versions of this line.
I trashed my last manager at the exit interview (kept it professional, but thorough and with verifiable examples). Told HR the team was miserable and I was just the first person to quit proactively but everyone’s looking. Another person left 4 months later and then the manager got fired. Sometimes the right thing happens...
Constructive criticism should always be given.
I don’t get this. Why can’t you give constructive feedback without burning bridges? Isn’t the whole pt so the the firm can work towards making things better?
