POV: You have a super unresponsive CD, and you have a meeting with said CD and the CEO about a big project. The meeting is basically about the status of this project, and the reason the entire copy and art team is exempt is because he wants direct info from the two of us. We were both supposed to be in sync about a lot of things, but we haven't been... Would you just talk about the bits you know, or call CD out in front of the CEO and say he hasn't been communicating about X,Y, and Z?

Yeah, I know it's super tempting to call the CD out, but don't do that. It won't show well on you. You can say something about it if the CEO questions why you both don't seem to be on the same page... like 'I think CD has been caught up last week, we weren't able to meet about it as many times as we wanted to".... and then the mic is automatically passed on to CD

I’d stick to what I know and keep it professional, highlight what’s been done and gently flag any blockers without throwing the CD under the bus. If the lack of communication is a real issue, I’d follow up with the CEO separately. No need to burn bridges in a high-stakes meeting.
