Happy Saturday fellow ND’s! I’ve been really enjoying the increase in Autistic (and other NeuroDivergent and disabled) people on LinkedIn!
I always thought I would have to hide away large parts of my identity for fear of how it would be viewed in a ‘professional’ environment. We are making huge strides towards this not being true anymore.
I thought I’d post a few people who have been open on LinkedIn and are great to follow, feel free to post others below:

I was open and honest with my manager about my recent diagnosis, and told him I was still trying to figure out new routines, medications, etc.
He was so supportive and shared that he also has ADHD!! He started giving me extra space/time for appointments, etc. and told me to take PTO as needed to adjust and figure things out. He also reminded me I had a budget for remote work supplies if I wanted to get new calendars, notebooks, apps, etc. So grateful to have a very supportive manager!
One thing that my coworker (who acts as my mentor) does is sometimes she writes lists of things I need to do and tries to be as specific as possible. One time I made a mistake and she realized it was because her instructions were a bit vague and apologized to me as opposed to reprimanding me.
