I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.
Any Muslim moms here?

Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

Happy Saturday fellow ND’s! I’ve been really enjoying the increase in Autistic (and other NeuroDivergent and disabled) people on LinkedIn!
I always thought I would have to hide away large parts of my identity for fear of how it would be viewed in a ‘professional’ environment. We are making huge strides towards this not being true anymore.
I thought I’d post a few people who have been open on LinkedIn and are great to follow, feel free to post others below:

Hi there! I also hesitated telling my workplace at first, but eventually decided to tell my manager because I needed a couple days off to sort out my new meds.
It was probably the best case scenario because my manager also has ADHD which I didn't know about, so they were able to share their experience with me, and offer a lot of support. I then decided to open up to the rest of my team, and it turned out that pretty much all of them also have ADHD or know someone close to them with ADHD! We now all share funny experiences and memes, and are all open with each other when we're struggling with our respective symptoms or meds.
I really trust my current team and manager, but I know I would not have felt safe sharing any of this with some previous companies. If you feel like you have a supportive manager, start there! Based on their reaction and how supportive they are, you can then decide if you want to share more broadly. Good luck!!
Omg awesome story! Are they hiring?
Think about it carefully. What outcome are you hoping to achieve from telling your employers about ADHD? Legally, there shouldn’t be any ramifications but human nature sometimes means that people will treat you differently. I haven’t shared my depression and ADHD for this reason.
If you are looking for specific accommodations, that’s a good reason to tell them. I would only discuss it if there’s a clear goal in mind. Look at the pros/cons before going in.
In my experience, no amount of masking is sufficient to conceal “invisible” disabilities from people who strongly prefer working with neurotypical coworkers. Especially if you’ve been targeted by office bullies before, it’s likely worthwhile to disclose your (probably obvious) disability. Be ready to specify what accommodations will help you succeed at work, and have a healthcare provider’s statement before making the request. ADA protects against discrimination harassment, and retaliation.
I think it’s a matter of individual choice, and as the previous poster just said, a clear “why” for doing so.
I have done it in a less formal roundabout way. Once in a “Global Inclusion Workshop” in discussing the gamut of diversities in the workplace today.
The other was more personal— my leadership style is highly people/relationship based, I preach authenticity to my direct reports, and I never ask of them what I’m not willing to do myself.
So during Mental Health Awareness month I shared it with my team— and had a few others email me sharing their personal experiences. It was incredibly uplifting.
My choices aren’t yours, your story isn’t mine. Understand your decision and there’s no wrong way forward for you!
