Recent Chicago Public Schools (CPS) watchdog reports have highlighted significant issues, including wasteful and potentially fraudulent travel expenses, with spending doubling between 2019 and 2024. The Inspector General's office also investigated nearly 1,500 complaints related to waste, fraud, and sexual misconduct. Previous reports have also detailed sexual misconduct allegations within the school system.

I’m a teacher in Chicago. I’m not sure what your post is communicating
Well, this is a frustrating report. However, I’m not surprised by it. Every district has some kind of shady business going on these days.
Page not found- is what it says when you go to your link OP
Just google it and it will come up. Just insane what the teachers and others would allow. Overseas "PD's", Hawaiin vacas disguised as PD's that would only be for one day and a week was paid for, just insane. Teachers were even not authorized to go and seems that they asked for forgiveness and get it paid for. I pay for my own PD. Costing me $545 for 4 days at Gettysburg College over the summer. Oh and some of those PD's was during the school year so subs also had to be paid for.
