How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. I’m moving to SF at the end of summer. Is it common for single people in their early 30s to have roommates?

I could afford a $4k 1bd/1ba place and understand the HCOL, but that much for rent seems excessive to live close to work in downtown SF especially with student loans, etc.

Looking to do a solo trip for about a week somewhere that’s driving distance from San Francisco (anything within ~10 hours) this July/August. Looking for some good hiking and food. Last year I did Bend and it was great!

Any recommendations? Would’ve liked to do Yosemite, but pretty hard to find places to stay at this point.
