Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Don't quit because of one person. Complain about that person. Confront them (in a PC way) and encourage others to do the same. That person will either shape up or peace out. I did this and the manager never asked me to be on her jobs and she eventually left.
I did when I quit Deloitte. She was a terrible person. I told my counselor, I told the Partner I worked with and I gave them an earful in my exit interview. Three months after I left she was fired. (Many others had complained as well)
I've heard these exit interviews are taken pretty seriously since they're probably the only time to be completely candid.
Thanks EY1! The fact that working with her is hell is the constant word around the office, but no one has the balls to say anything. I feel like I would probably help a lot of people if I made that known...
I told anyone and everyone who would listen that the manager was awful. They opted to promote her when they don't even trust her work. When you give feedback though make sure it put it in the context of how the manager is potentially costing the firm money or hurting client relationships.
@ Tax Manager 1: that's way easier said than done.
@EY3 same, our whole office has heard the same thing as well, but we heard it was a senior. To be honest I think it's the best policy to say something because it only hurts the rest of the team that you leave behind if the behavior of him/her continues. It may even drive the others to leave for the same reason.
The benefit of working in big 4, among other things, is you don't have just one manager. You can always request to work on a different engagement or with a different manager. Give upward feedback so that the partner group knows about this individual. Good luck, but don't quit because of one person.
I heard someone did that in Roseville 😂
Assurance. I don't work in that office, but I've heard the same thing.
Planning on doing the same. Give 'em hell.
Roseville assurance or tax?? They've been taking a lot of hits out there from the sounds of it.
Yes

You first lol

You can say something. Be honest and keep it fact based with specific examples. Most likely will do no good, but can't hurt.
