I want to make the transition to the firm’s Litigation department because I want to practice international arbitration. How do I approach my HR department as well as the litigation bosses about transitioning to litigation? Any ideas would be helpful.

Can my spouse change her job while green card application is pending. I'm the primary applicant and both my I140 and I485 are pending.

She is currently working on an L2S which is also up for renewal. On similar terms, would her job change have any impact to her L2S renewal application, assuming it's applied and pending with USCIS by that time.

Completely and totally miserable at my firm and just need a space to vent because my friends are tired of hearing about it. I wish the worst part about it was the amount of work, rather than the completely toxic culture, lack of appreciation, arbitrary and back/breaking deadlines, lack of mentorship/feedback/training, and the fact that the associates act like they don’t even know each other. I know the job market is not that great as of now but I’ve applied to countless PM roles and have had no success. I want to know from other PM’s if it’s necessary for me to get a PMP certification before I can get a job or it’s not that of a requirement?

Compared to FRM, CFA is tough because it requires an enormous commitment to complete all three levels
