Both partners working from home, cancel all internal / non-essential calls, try to figure out with your spouse which calls can each of you take while the other one watches kids, and if none of that is feasible, which will inevitably happen, let your team know and take PTO

We're all human. Everyone has rough weeks. Be nice to yourself. Do what you need to do to get through the day. Communicate with your team. Delegate. Cancel any nice-to-have calls. When you show up to work strong tomorrow, thank everyone get on with your day. Hope everything gets better soon.

This is the way. Nothing is so important that you can’t take a day or two to take care of yourself or your sick child. This is why we have teams, they should give you coverage, even if a partner is unhappy about it.

As a habit on normal days, make it easy for people to find and know what you are working on so they can slot in if a day goes haywire and you are less of a bottleneck.

Here for the answers. Trying to navigate a super rough parenting week.

This post is an alert message for anyone joining the Johnson & Johnson EMEA account for SAP & had Rakesh Sharma for their Manager round.

He is nothing less than a con man & will promise you a lot to make you join the account. After that he will put you in testing projects. If you ask for a release, he will either not release you or release with a very bad rating and influence other project managers to not take you into their projects.

You will be left with no choice other than leaving TCS.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?
