For context, will you post your query for Becker?
The becker explanation was “The correct answer is "a) Cold site" and the explanation is "the arrangement that the controller would be looking for would be a cold site. The reason is the use of an alternate location (either hot site or a cold site) and then the delivery of duplicate computer hardware (that makes it a cold site). “
and I said:
I put hot site because of the past tense of "arranged" in the question. If controller arranged the delivery of duplicate computer hardware to this alternate location, then the hardware would be there or in the process of being there to generate a hot site. Therefore, the plan is a hot site because the plan has arranged hardware to be at the site. If the question stated a plan for delivery then it would have been a cold site. But the fact that the delivery was arranged, past tense, then the plan should be considered a hot site because the delivery of hardware is already in the process before the event of a disaster. I understand the difference between hot and cold sites. I just believe based on the context of the question, that the alternate location has hardware because the controller arranged delivery. “
I agree with Becker. You read wayyy to much into it.
proud of you 🥰
