When I’ve worked with service designers the output seems to be another version of a process map, are there other skills and experience needed? I’m wondering how easy a move would be from business analysis to service design...

For those of you who have done both, is it better to work at a large or small firm? I'm afraid I'd get lost in the crowd at one of the larger firms, but I'm worried I won't have as many opportunities at a boutique. Would love some insight.
