Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

I think that it should be casual or business casual when clients aren't being seen. I worked for Amazon Corporate and made multi million dollar deals dressed like a college student the entire time. I wore jeans, collard shirt and clean tennis shoes. It didn't change the business conversations and I still closed the deals. The companies that dress up for work everyday are typically banking and or some retail orgs only. Apple definitely started that trend of dressing down and getting the job done.
Different strokes for different folks. I don't think it's necessarily outdated, it's just not the standard anymore. I dress somewhere between business casual and business professional most days, but it wouldn't bother me if my colleagues were more on the casual side as long as we didn't have a big client meeting on the docket.
My only concern would be having to organize everyone when client meetings come up, then inevitably, somebody forgets. I’d be more consistent in that regard. Every place is very different with dress codes and what is considered appropriate and professional.
Well I’m sure you could probably find a happy medium between full on suits and business, professional and jeans because I agree jeans probably don’t belong in the workplace. What about slacks and khakis and blouses or button-down shirts cardigan that kind of thing
