Anyone here succeeding despite their lack of a college degree?

Folks, any advice on applying for jobs at a previous client? As a firm we have great relationships with the senior client leadership and I am afraid that the GEP and my RL will eventually find out when I submit my job application. On the other hand, if I tell my RL prior to applying, I will probably end up towards the top of “people to be laid off” list.

I’ve been given a project to create a database that houses everything for our talent acquisition department including tips, best practices, processes, etc. I’ve been given free reign on creating the entire thing from scratch but I’m running out of ideas! Does anyone have any advice on what I should include? This will be going live next year and will be the main source of information for everyone in the company for anything TA related. Would love some help!!!

I've been in PeopleOps (mostly focused on TA Ops) for over 9 years now. I've somehow gotten by without a degree in HR or a certification, but would like to get some more education to continue to advance my career. What are your thoughts on PHR vs SPHR vs SHRM for someone with my years of experience and current role as a manager?

Starting to get feelers out for Account Management roles (fully remote or hybrid Seattle based). My experience is working with e-commerce businesses and i would like to build on that. So far I am lined up to speak with Shopify, Twilio, Attentive. Anyone have good/bad things to say regarding these companies? Where else should I consider?

Monday Status Check - how's your pipeline looking?

Has anyone else felt overshadowed by a team mate? Team member is higher than me in role but I have more functional experience. However, I am often spoken over in meetings and feel as if I’m fighting an uphill battle.

What are the key components of your performance review process? The data points we currently use are manager and self scoring of a scorecard for each employee (scorecard outlines mission for the position, outcomes, and competencies) as well as peer feedback based on the competencies of the position (thought being a manager only has so much insight to a person’s day to day, especially in a matrix org). What am I missing?

I can’t get myself to act excited for a new job during interviews and I know it’s costing me 🥹🥹 so tired of the current job. Tired of the job search. Tired of putting in double time for actual work and job hunt. Tired of acting like I care about “being part of the company’s growth/expansion” during interviews lol.

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I have also considered a sales analyst role considering that I am moderately versed in Salesforce and have worked both the customer facing and sales generating side. TIA!
