I don't think UKIA had a tough quarter. Considering where we were when she took the job, she's been great.
OP not professional services and not from where we were. The organisational mess she inherited was mental and she's been able to mobilise the troops a lot more than others.
Appreciate that meant more pressure on MDs who had to step up and answer to a more empowered below MD population (triggered by her SMAD calls).
Genuinely not getting the anti Shaheen vibe on here lately. Given the wider chaos in the firm, she is doing a pretty admirable job.

I don’t really understand what else Shaheen can do here… performance for the MU is turning, she supports on any client whose CAL makes the case for her to do so, and she spends time with partners to grow the ecosystem too. She’s demanding but personable, and she’s a high achiever who cares about what she’s doing. I didn’t like her after that first analyst ”AMA (but only if it’s submitted in advance and nice)”, but I now believe she’s a great leader (with a strong track record from Tech, as I understand it), who is being held back / sabotaged by a bad leader at the very top. #BlameJulieSupportShaheen

Listen to MD. S has a habit of selling things we absolutely do not have the capacity to deliver and runs away leaving people like MD to deal with. She turns up acting like she's had a hard life repeating all the Pinterest quotes with a home counties accent and a blow dry thinking that's adding value to proceedings. More junior folk buy into it but those with experience can see past the veneer.
