Should I splurge on a Van cleef necklace ? Any other brands that are worth the splurge for a necklace or earrings ?

I don’t see the novelty tbh

IMO, get away from mass produced "brands" for fine jewelry. I don't understand splurging on jewelry pieces that so many other people have. Go to some local jewelry shops and see what they have, or have a piece made.

It’s more like a symbol that you have money vs a real accessory, but to each their own

I love the Cartier double ring necklace if you want to splurgeeeeeee

I never saw the appeal until the day I started shopping around. I tried on a good many big name brands and until you put it on, you don’t realize the difference. Get the necklace, it’s an absolute work of art and I’m so glad that I made the leap!

I do sales for a major engineering firm. Focused on new business and exploring new markets. Last year I was in the top 50% for order intake, and first in number of projects won along with number of new customers. I think this is extraordinary given the effort it takes to win new business.

For next year my goal increased by 2.5X, and less of what I bring in counts towards that target. I really enjoy my job but I will essentially be getting a large pay cut. Lost in what to do besides quit??
