Since the administration has instructed agencies to really focus on what roles are “mission critical” or not, are the major contractors like BAH officially now only hiring for mission critical roles, especially only people with Secret or TS/TSCI? Or has there been no such hiring directive issued by the major contractors like Booz, Leidos, GDIT, Guidehosue, etc.?

Are there any free invoice sending and tracking tools? I’m currently using google sheets but feel like there has to be an easier way.

Home reno financing question. Have a big project coming up in the $120-150k range. Funding sources are:
- 90k from a heloc around prime
- 10k from a credit card that offers promo checks at 2-3% for 12-18 months
- 375k in a brokerage
- 5-6k per month cash that I can put towards the project, loans, or brokerage

I don't want to stop funding the brokerage because my FIRE plan is less numbers based than "hoard like dragon until it's enough" but maybe I should... How would you optimize?

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this?
