Hi all, which companies in the Federal space can I target that work in the healthcare implementation space? Most openings I see are on the strategy/advisory side.
I have a lot of experience in the Medicaid world and have led and managed implementation projects there. Thanks.

Guidehouse, maybe?

like

Guidehouse, AFS, BAH, Deloitte are all in that space. I know the latter three were or are involved in the EHR implementation for DOD.

Pretty sure Leidos is in that space, too.

like

Also, at Guidehouse, you can straddle commercial and federal work if you like.

Anyone from Guidehouse and BAH willing to chat about their healthcare practice and talk about the implementation work the company is doing? Thanks.

How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked. Although the team has asked me to invest some time in learning Java but I’m skeptical about all of this as the position is Data Engineer II so not sure how the expectations will change. Even if I invest time in learning Java I can be at a beginner level.

However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.
