So, I am little tired of working in Freight/ Aviation industry. The type of work and the type of people that I have to deal with is quite draining and feel like the work amounts to nothing, personally. There is no drive anymore...

I would like to get into the creative sector or perhaps the alcohol industry. How do I approach searching and applying for such positions as and when they become available?

Thank you in advance!

If you want to stay in sales, do some research on distillers and pick some you think you'd like to work for and apply. They have sales operations, of course, so that might be an option. I suppose the same strategy might apply in the creative sector, though I suppose the type of selling would have to be narrowed down.

The alcohol industry seems like a decent place to be right now.. extremely recession-proof (for better or for worse). I think you could definitely make this pivot by researching keywords on job listings you're interested in and figuring out how to describe how your skills and experience are all transferable (I'm sure they are). Doing some informational interviews could also really help. Reaching out to people who are currently working at companies you're interested in and seeing if they'll talk to you about their career paths. A lot of people are open to this
