So, I guess I didn't realize how obsessed this industry was with looks. I was interviewing at a local news station, for a role that would not have me appear on air or interact with the public. But the guy I was interviewing with kept saying that we have certain "standards" while looking me up and down. I was in a nice suit with my hair up in a bun. I'm a little heavier but again I'm not going to be on-air. It was a humiliating experience

I know I have the skill, but I struggle to even get an interview at most places. I'm pretty new out of college, but I'm in Atlanta and I feel like there aren't tons of entry-level positions in the area. Any tips for a new professional? Not sure how to level up my approach to job hunting, but I feel like there's always something I can do.
