So I think I need to leave my current position. I hate call center work but I have a chronic illness and it’s really all I can get. Working from home is great and all but at my current job, we don’t get yearly raises and that bothers me. I feel like maybe I should give the bare minimum if they aren’t going to pay me a living wage. I was hired for another company but I’m not sure if I want to take it just based on the fact I’ve been in my current position for over a year. I’m kinda torn.

For Plaintiff's attorneys, how big is your caseload? What kind of cases are the majority of them and are they in suit? I am currently handling 150+ mostly MVAs and premise liability cases, just about all in suit, (on top of about 10 DUIs and other small traffic matters) and I feel like I'm drowning and looking to jump ship. What is normal/to be expected? In NYC area if that matters

Ratios of Admins to Attys at your big law? My firm has first through fourth year associates using a pool system and assigns 5th years and up to an admin. Each admin has 7-9 attys. Word on the street is ratios may increase. Trying to get centralized billing so admins do less. Meanwhile they can’t seem to keep our billing folks from leaving. It’s been a crazy year and lots of disappointing moves.
