There seems to be quite a few people in here looking to join a startup.
We're a mature aerospace impact startup (in Switzerland) pre launch for a new platform to engage and empower passangers in order to accelerate sustainability in aviation. Our product website is www.adaption.me and company website is www.optimaero .ai.
If you're interested in joining us, and you think you have skills that suit our business, you could drop me a speculative application by email at hello@OptimAero.ai.

You could potentially look at other countries for stamping other than your home country.
Not allowed anymore. I think the rule was changed some time last year. Painful indeed
Agree.
If you’re even able to access the website, I constantly get the error message.
Cali bros seem unaffected
This situation has become awfully specific to just India. Even China has several appointments available just a month or two away despite the policies associated with visa stamping only in home country + social media vetting applicable to all countries, not just India. It is just the number of applicants from India is humungous, the barrier to make a case for an H1B visa has been rather easy and too many Indians wanted a chance at the first world (nothing wrong with that).
The US immigration systems has really squeezed India on its over population over the years. It is the reality whether we like it or not. It sucks but there is nothing that can be done about it.
Not thinking to go back instead? Lot of jobs moving back home
I don’t think it has got anything to do with population, unfortunately. The US is using their visa rules (esp. re: H1 and GC) as a bargaining chip with India.
@McK1: Not more than a certain percent of GCs in a USCIS year (Oct to Sept) can be given to people born in a single country. Which almost always means that Indians would need an indefinite H-1B renewal on EB2 or EB3 and in turn they would need a stamp if they make trips once a 3-year stamp expires. How is this a bargaining chip in bilateral relations? Those are codified immigration laws by Congress that haven't changed in years.
