Anyone exited into stripe?
I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

There are so many things that influence salary progression. I have found that job hopping is what seems to influence upward trajectory the most. You can’t control much, but you can control interviewing for new roles.

Linear progression is rare. Sometimes, a lateral move is what’s needed to get ahead. I handle this by staying open-minded and making sure every role I take serves a purpose. Whether for the long-term or just to gain valuable short-term experience.
Thank you for the advice
Live within your current means and dont plan for things you can’t afford until you can afford them.
