Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

What have you found most helpful in training up a very green junior brand planner or junior strategist? Any particular trainings or resources that are great at teaching foundational skills? I’ll be pulling them into projects and teaching through doing but I need some assistance in building up their core skills/training the strategy muscle.

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.

My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s a $2,000 hospital bill which in the US is nothing compared to what it represents there (which he can’t afford). He’s going to be fine! MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.
